Sedgwick Blueberry Field

Sedgwick, Maine is located on the Blue Hill Peninsula. It’s coast line is studded with blueberry fields that turn the colors of fire in the fall of the year. This particular day was a beautiful warm day in early October. My friends and I from the Bangor Art Society gathered at this location for some plein aire painting and camaraderie. This painting is a product of that day as it was coming to a close and the sunlight was casting long golden rays of sunlight across the barrens.
